kelly anns december challenges

Hi  everyone,
well  christmas is almost  upon us,  i will go buy stuff tomorrow ,we dont eat much at our household, so no christmas tree  or  any decorations have gone up this year , a first for  me    so only chicken, potato salad and   bread rolls this year, for us,
we are going to my sisters place on  the north side of town about an hour and 10 minute away.

as you may have noticed i havent been on  of late ,i bought a new  smart phone last month and am only catching up  with it  now, with all the bells and whistles , and today just found out how to  turn off my emails  yaa, but  of course while everything was on , it has been chewing up  my data. hopefully,  i have turned everything off and it will stay off  as i dont need over 200.00 bills every month,  of course some of it  for a technication     to come out and fix our home line, which was the whole street,  which the  phone still does not work after 2 days , so have now disconnected it
so i have had no data for  over  15 days , i wonder  how i survived before 2003  without internet, maybe cause i worked   8 - 10 hours a day and didnt own a computer  or  internet,  but  the last 15 day seem to be endless without chatting to my friends
the last  week i have been going down to the library,   nice and quite and cool there ,
my family member has seen that my bill is going to be  over $200   this month,    its a long story, so wont bore you with it ,
so ,  in the meantime,  i have created   4 of  kelly anns sketches  out of the 5  so far ,
I have been trying to clean up  my room with no success  as i  find things and think ,i can use that on , so now have been putting them into bags writing for next album or  for making of next years  christmas   cards
i am hoping that i  will find the floor before new year, i say that every year,  but  really i have to  get  onto it  on boxing day,
its amazing what you find in the drawers that you havent been  to for  a year, i found a present for my friend that i wrote on , give to liz  2015 then  crossed out 2016 crossed  out and here 2017 i will make sure she gets it in 2018. lol then i wil lhave more room in the drawer LOL

so  here are   kellys sketches,  thanks to  kym c for  creating the sketches for the   last  year, i have had fun  creating  layouts and getting some more of my  new zealand  photos  into the album

Merry Christmas  to you all
 and a  Happy New Year

Tuesday 5 December 2017

hi,
welcome to my blog, i will try not  to go on forever , i seem  to write manuscripts here

some of you , may have noticed, that i haven't  been doing a lot of online challenges of late,
i have been busy,  life sometimes gets in the way, ( is this what retirement is , to always keep busy like work,? ?   ) although the last few months i seem to only get a couple of challenges done  each month, my diary  tells me that im always busy

for the last 39 years,  i have always sent  my Christmas cards out  on  1st December, but not this year, i have the cards on the table ,  thats a start,  i think  i will  stay  home on  the  12 th  december to  do them finally,  hope the post  man still works

in 2016,  a good friend, added  me to a 216 challenge, being the beginning of January i just thought it was a monthly challenge,  like ive been dong for the past 3 and half    years,

in my   cupboard i had  9  boxes of  photos,   216 layouts in a year ,  i  accomplished this and  moved 5 boxes out of the cupboard,  i thought  2017,  i only have  4  boxes left,  so  should be a  piece of cake lol  to get them scrapped  in  the year, well,  the  boxes are still in the cupboard, i thought i would have more space this Christmas
.i think  in the new year, 2018,  i will have to  make a pact to   get  these  photos scrapped so i have room in my cupboard again ,
so , what do i  do when im scrapping and not doing challenges,im making  mini albums , im used to doing a online challenge and having it loaded up within a few hours, but this isnt the case with mini albums,   here i am  at  album 6  with   ideas of what to do with album  number 7,  8  &  9  albums .gosh,  what am i  thinking , i only have so many hours in a day, and if im  out ,like my diary tells me  i am , then it only leaves a few hours at night, after i  get off chatting to friends online,  to do them, like between  10  pm and midnight , lol  maybe i dont sleep ,  that might the key  ? ? ? ?
so  after  sunday  10th , i will  show you one of my mini albums , i have taken a video of it, my first video ever,  so bear with me,

i will endeavor to    show you more of them when time permits
im thinking  i do love the December challenges, but  it  have to be after Christmas, unless i can  get in a day at cropping  maybe ,   ?? ? ??
chat soon,

123 November challenge

 123  NOVEMBER   CHALLENGE

Another  month  upon us,  where has this year flown.
( 1 )  sketch
(2)  2 words  Awesome  Adventure
(3) 3 colours   green , blue and grey.
this months challenge  has  great  colours,  blue, green and grey, growing up , i was always told  blue and green should never been seen, yet, i say to people  what colour is the grass  and what colour is the sky & sea. & they meet . and they do look great together.

im going to keep it short, i say that every month, but here goes . . . . . .
products used,
blue and green card stock
Kaisers - Stonewall stencil
Kaiser  -  Basecoat ,  IV collection
Colour  Blast    - Steel  texture paste
Scrapmatts  chipboards -   circle
Krafters Korner   flowers
Ultimate  Crafts -  Bohamian  Bouquet  Gemstones  Flourishes
Resin Rainbow -  bespoke flower  doily
Kelly Ann Oosterbeeks -  Butterflies
in my stash i found a  paper  doily ,  that had grey  flower upon it , so have also inked around the outside of this

I have  used  my  stonewall stencil to  create  a bit of texture on the   basecoat   background as well as on the blue  cardstock under the photos .
after drying  i have  assembled it all together.
i have  inked the  scrapmatts chipboard circle.
printed  out the words,  Awesome   Adventure on white cardstock though my  computer and printer as well as  my sub title  and main total,  Lake Tekapo and  The church of  good shepherd
lucky, the  information  that i had on a piece of paper ( from new Zealand trip)   fitted on to make a photo .

Until next month,  I  wonder if  it will be red or green being christmas month, i will just have to  wait and see.
have a a great time scrapping.

kelly anns challenge for retreat

 hi all ,
i know i haven't done any challenges this month,   i thought at the beginning, that i would wait til  after  kelly anns  retreat to  get started,  so  did not do any layouts for 13 days, til camp,
i went to the retreat ,which wa great only problem , Rain, and humidity, does not go well with my sinuses and rain it did all weekend,
i came home and then  caught a cold on top of it ,so dr put me on medication and today is the first day that i have felt , like doing anything,
im still coughing  a bit , so staying home  i would love to  go to  new scrapbooking shops to see what they have, but it will have to wait .

We  got a group photo  on the last day of  camp,  and  kelly ann, asked us to do a layout by the end of the month,

i have used a combination of   Kaisers indigo skies and  one of the base coat  background  sheets,  and then  with my stash  just filled around the photo

fishing net,  at the back of the photo  ,
collectables
good times
light house from scrapmatts

flower  stem  green tara
rocks are from  bead shop
by the sea is scrapmatts,
post card is studio light (www.studiolight.nl) Vintage  lane
buterflies from Kelly Ann Oosterbeek
bling from cheap shop
in the good times, we received  some  beads, so instead of trying to  find a home, i placed then in and added glossy accents  to it to look like rain  how clever LOL
the post card , i  type on  my computer then  put the paper  though,

well , not sure if i will get any other  challenges done this month, depending on how i feel in the next coming days ,
til next month,

have a great day.

Kaiser Septembers Challenge

Kaiser Septambers  Challenge
i can not believe  that we are  almost in October, where has the year gone,

looking at the  great sketch ,but not  thinking of any pictures  can be troublesome to say the least, when the mind goes blank, its not that i dont have enough photos, i have lots and they need to be scrapped or as my hubby says , if they now dont mean anything  now , throw them away.
shock horror i think

so looking at the  Kaiser corner, so many  beautiful layouts, this month,  i think, maybe it  just time for me to give the challenges a miss , ive been doing them for over 3 years,   but i do like  the sketches etc. i still have a mountain of Kaiser products, and mountains of photos  and it gives me something to do though the day  when im home and not travelling people for appointments every month,
A lady wrote when i mentioned this and she said that instead of  looking for photos of people  that no  one really  is interested in as they dont know them  why  not do sceneries,
well, yes, i thought  i have lots of photos that way in new zealand trip, and so my journey began
products ive used ,
Kaiser  - Limelight  paper
P 1451 Dawn
P1445 Bright
P 1449 Step
Botanica  -  collectables
Kaiser  Elegant  Pearl Florish Chocolate
Kaiser  Lime green Rhinestones
No cardstock was used on this layout

 here is my version

Hope you like it ,now  to  figure  how i enter the page  again ,
have a great day

123 septembers challenge

123 September's  Challenge

Love this combo, i  always love anything  that  has blue in it , so calming
I enjoy   doing  123 challenges each month  and can not wait til the next month comes around.
love this sketch, colours and  words,  Love Always,  this view  from  imaginarium  designs chipboards,
Where has September gone   its almost over and i haven't  done any of my challenges this month, time is going too fast,
After a restful break for  10 days away, i came home  peaceful & relaxed , but then  2 days later  the hectic  life began again with taking people off for their appointments, hospitals again.  yaa i  think i have this week off, keep fingers crossed,
 i need another holiday, LOL

todays i have chosen a few   collections for my page,
Kaiser -  Coastal  Escape, High Tide &  Close to my Heart  papers
Inked the title  with   Kaisers, sandstone  inks this is getting a bit light on , i  will have to make it one of  my new buys at the next trip to  the  shop.
I have  Kaisers Die cut my anchors using  sand and  blue cardstock
the circle, i cut out of  my  bread and butter  plate,  easy,  instead of getting out machine,
inked the string on some of the  anchors,
i have embossed  swirls,  just love these   going though my ebosser, for texture
I have distressed my edges and inked as well,

hard to believe we are in  October next week,  my turn for someone ( hubby )  to drive  me to an appointment, rest , yaaa. at   first thought i would be staying in hospital, but this isn't the case now ,  so hoping that  all will go well,   im  looking forward to seeing the  sizes of the  sketch photos again real soo instead of spots, i will be seeing properly,
i will be  resting for a few days, from 3rd October,
hope you like my layout as much as i  have enjoyed doing this ,

until next month have a great day

http://imaginariumdesigns.blogspot.com.au/2017/08/a-new-month-selfie-challenge.html?spref=fb

  Imaginarium Designs
Selfie this months challenge,   not often we do ourselves, hey.
Tonight,   i wanted a quick  and fast  way to do my challenge, as im  heading away tomorow and did not want to leave the photos and papers on my desk,  til my return,  as the challenge  would be over  and the photo would go back into  the cupboard.
I received some     different   Imaginarium   chipboards last month for  a placing, so  pleased with that .  now can do lots more  Imaginarium challenges if i   want to  do.
i had out  blue cardstock of another project, i got out  2, but only  used  the one sheet  so instead of putting it away,  just use it , this is my plan.  in the coming months  to use  instead of   storing for a rainy day, lol ,
so thought  a selfie,    i thought,  use the imaginarium   letters and colour them  with Chameleon Pens, and the leaves  ( large flourish  imaginarium ) served  a good point for my flowers, and i love anything , lacy, so  the   me in the   ( window  Imaginarium ) )  chipboard,  just suited ,
i have used some  Kaiser brick papers
my latest   buy is Chameleon  pens  so  what better way than to colour  the chipboards with it , i have cool colours,      like light blues,  dark blue, greens , although , i may not have mastered it yet ,  im sure in time i will .
I found some  die cuts,  from Coco Vanilla ,  just love  this collection Hello Sunshine,
i found some  words, flowers and arrows  clouds,   and  used   liquid pearls for centres of flowers ,
thanks
see you all later next month sometime ,
thanks for great challenge,  i wonder what  interesting things you have installed for next month,  i may have to sneak  in on the computer somewhere in my travels  so i can get some ideas of photos while im away lol

scrapbook fantasies weekly challenge, #33 colour orange

welcome to  a new week,
this week scrapbook challenge has the colour orange as their colour, im not  one for  orange, in my stash, so  what to do , leave it   nah.

i did however pick up some bright orange papers from   make and takes  months ago and thought  i will give it a try one day, so the orange paper  has been in with my  kits to do  box.

   what to do ,    ? ? ?  ? ummm ,as i said not a colour i play with,

my friend is creating a  mini album, and she was saying about all the  fussy cutting she has to do on it  i asked her which album from heartfelt creations she was doing ,as i have several of their dies,

so in getting them out, im flicking though my dies, in my book,  and theres a  brick die ,and  the lovely swirly one, and ideas started to form,

so  theres not a lot of papers that im used to  adding on it this time ,but the effect is there  and  thats the main thing

Orange cardstock
 Kaiser Brick  Die
swirly die  not sure if its Kaiser,
A Mothers Art   Butterflies, i have used  the yellow ones and  put  Martha  Stewart orange glitter  pen over it , it would not stay on ,so  then added glossy accents over the top,
Kaiser  Pina  Colada  leaves rub ons and coloured with   Martha Stewart Glitter Markers

Instead of throwing away the  release paper, i have added it to the bottom to tie in with the black edging of the butterflies,

Love this is from a Kaiser Paradiso sticker sheet
I have dotted around the edge with  my orange  Glitter Markers from Martha Stewart ( love these Markers)

most likely wont be able to do  challenges, the next few weeks,  unless i see them   up  soon .  LOl

as  have orchid show on  last weekend of august, ( 26 th and 27th )  then will be going away for  a few weeks,  ( no scrapping allowed in caravan  LOL)

until next time have a great week scrapping

123 august challenge

hi all ,
welcome to another month, August already,   of  the 123 challenge,

i have the honour of being on the design team this month, how exciting,  did you try the new  challenge last month, such pretty soft  colours,   with sketch,  2 words and 3 colours
This months challenge are  different all  from last month, but just as exciting, i hope you give it a go,
We have the sketch , from page maps
 2 words are  Family Fun
the colours this  month are devine, who would think of these three  great colours ,
 Chocolate, Teal an Violet.
here are  my products i have used for my layout.
Card Stock White, Teal, Chocolate & Violet
Kaiser Basecoat Broadwalk  &  Sea Breeze
stamping is from Close to  my heart,  Sweet and lovely    &  Kaiser  script,
Inks, are  Kaiser  Jade,
                   versa colour brown
A Mothers  Art  butterflies, these  cute little butterflies compliment any  layout or card, i just love them  10 colours to pick from  but today, i have used brown and teal
Chipboard  is from Dusty Attic i have  coloured the chipboard, with  teal and  brown inks.
a fiskers circle punch
the flower is from  the Resin Rainbow
I have  put some  teal  liquid  pearls  oround the page.
and Kaiser bling  on butterflies,

with the words Family Fun, i have  placed black gesso  on the  chipboards and when dry, have added   Born Pretty  powders,  they are my favourite  accessory to add for a bit of glitz to my  layout they change colour  if turned a different way, you can look at it one way  and its purple and then another  and its teal,

The photo brings back lots of lovely memories, of  our nephew ,who had  just came back  from  army camp  for the weekend, and the whole family were there,

Our God Daughter,  looked like she was having a really good time with dad, on the trampoline,  the excitement  on her face tells  such wonderful memories of Family Fun.  all the children then wanted a go, poor  Brian. he was worn out .

i do hope you give this month a try looking forward  to seeing your layouts .

thanks   1 2 3   for this great opportunity  to   be on your team this month

Kelly Ann Oosterbeeks sketch august challenge

Thanks  Kelly Ann and Kym C for  the great sketch  this is  sketch 1
Kelly has  4 sketches a month, unless there are 5 weeks in the month, then  we get a extra one,

last night, i created , one of  Kelly ann Oosterbeeks  sketch one, i love  Kym's  sketches.

im starting to get out my  dies, and  last night, decided  on  the poinsettia one, that i bought last year, at Christmas , about time i started to use some of  my  dies, they all look lovely to look at , and then finding the time  to   use them  is sometimes another matter entirely
i sometimes think i  just love just browsing though my stamps ,dies and embossing folders,   which i  all have in books,  easy to see

so after putting   though the embossing machine  before i took out the dies, i  inked  some of them  to give   edging around the flowers,   I love the  heartfelt creations  cockatoo, not many things to  it too ,once  you have done  cards for men in my life, but wil try and use it a bit more

I have coloured the  cockatoo with  my watercolour pearlised paints, which can be bought at  spotlight for $5.00,  so easy  to  go  on , and relaxing to paint .
the cloud is also a die , that i have just recently  got  from a kit,  have inked it
the little flowers are from   D'stash that i  bought  on sunday,

well, i best o get of here and do some housework,  hubby is renovating,  in the lounge room,  which means vacuum cleaner will have to come out.

i wonder if i have time later to do another layout,   ummm

scrapbook fantasies weekly challenge#32/2017

Due: 3 September 2017
Weekly Inspiration Challenge #32/2017
Good morning

Today, i   thought i would have a change of  papers

today's challenge is to do tearing,  not one of my strong points,  so good  to try, when i think of tearing i think of old photos  so my  great grandmothers house is a perfect example  with my grand  mother  at the front of the house

I have used  Sue Smyth magnolia Lane papers. ive had them for over  a year, they are soo pretty
Once i started tearing,  well, i just kept going ,by adding clocks  and doilies  behind each tear.

I have used some   Kaiser rub ons  flowers as extras

gosh i  just love  the way this has turned out,   i think i may see if i   can find some  more  photos of my grandmother and do them all the same

until next time
i best get off here  have places to be  - to the  foot dr.
cheers

scrapbook fantasies weekly challenge, due 13th august

http://www.scrapbookfantasies.com.au/blog/2017-weekly-challenges   colour-  baby blue

Weekly Challenge #29/2017  - Won this  challenge , my first  with this challenge  site .

Here it  is  - Day 8 ,  i haven't even started my  usual challenges, of course, they have been all printed out on the 1st of the month as usual,  but  at night,  when im ready for  sleep,  photos pop into  my head,   like why not  use this photo so the next day i can begin,  but nothing , am i  needing a break,  why dont i just sit outside and watch the traffic  go  by,
like  normal  old people in their rocking chair, ( dont have one)   LOL
Maybe cause i  have a room   that im sorting,   i can not think, tonight,  im going to put everything back into a box  & put it in the cupboard,  to   sort  after Christmas, im over  it ,
that sounds like  a plan.  out of sight out of mind.

Maybe cause i've  won,  some challenges i dont feel  like i have anything left to  give? ? ?
ive accomplished that  field.  will see .
or maybe just need to get away again , Lol,  planning on that  as we speak

A  good friend, suggested , that maybe i  need a different  sort of challenge &  gave me  a  challenge site, so i went on the  site  last  night,  umm one due on the  13th august, she does weekly ones , i already do a weekly one,  (  but i do them over a few days Lol)  but its blue,
i can not pass that up.  due sunday, so im home  Wednesday, , whats my excuse,

Wednesday-  day 9,   get out all light blue papers,  now photo, yes,   one of  me with my   nephew,  perfect, im on a roll ,lets get started,
I have stamps,  hardly ever  use them  lovely to look though,  i went to class a few months ago,  the teacher said who has stamps at home and dont use them, i meekly put up my hand,  i feel that when the teacher shows you, thats their design and i m unable to use that page again, but today, im going to  get rid of that myth,
so  most of the papers i got out, i am to put back in the cupboard,

lets go a different way of thinking,  lets  use Stamps,  Washi Tapes, Stencils. Embossing folders.

White and light blue cardstock.
I have used  Kaiser  Bluebell  matted onto  embossed card stock
Dot  stencil,
Drew Drop Brilliance   Sky Blue ink
I always  have  to do script  in black staz on
                        Kaiser  Script stamp
                        Kaiser   paint   stamp
Kaiser    not sure of the name  threw  packaging away,  it has true story,                                                            documented
Washi  tapes - blue , another  item that sits   on top of my cupboard not used,

Heart Embossing Folder, that i  bought with a card making magazine,
i have  embossed  2 sheets  so that i could cut out  one  to  cut around  my photo, then
have inked  the 2nd  one with sky blue  ink

of course , i have to use ,  A Mothers Art  Butterflies,  just love these
from Kelly Ann Oosterbeek.
The  words you Melt my Heart is from Bo Bunny, that i  bought over  5 years ago, have used most  of the  collection for  my New Zealand   trip . now this   been used,  yaaa.

hope you enjoy   my layout, as much as i   have  today,
now maybe i might look at the tearing  challenge, it has a bit more time   to do it
.

until next time ,
Have a great Day
Thank  you  friend .  for  sending me  the scrapbook fantasies challenges.

123 July challenge

123 july challenge
1 is  sketch from  page maps,
2 is   2 words , happy times
3 is the colours,  light pink , light blue and silver

such pretty colours this month,   its taken me a while to think   what i have in light blues and pinks in my  abundance of  papers
I've decided to use Sue Smyth Magnolia  Lane  papers the clock, i know ive been saving it up for a reason,  just love them ,but dont want to use.  anyway bite the bullet so to speak and cut out the clock .
I have  also  used a  project life  , A friend gave me some  glitter paper as xmas  present along with some other trinkets,  last year,
I could  not decide  on which silver   embellishment to use, so used them all

2 are from  My 2 Angels. love and  pink flower with the word  craft show

Precious  Metal silver  rub ons ,
the blue cord and  silver stars are from the Bead shop at browns plains. qld
ive added  Kaiser Silver Bells   border   to glue the   cord, as it wasnt sticking to the glitter  paper
the card stock is  Kaiser  Ballet  such a delicate   shade of pink .
and  i have used and coloured with Kiaser  Island  ink  flowers  in pale blue.
ive turned the sketch around , as i could not bear to see the clock upside down

the  embellishments  on the  left  and right of  the layout are silver, although the photo does not show it ,  with the word love and  craft show ,

welcome to a new month, where is the time flying , its hard to believe that only  5 more  months and it will be Christmas again

this months white with   one is  lavender  lane, such a pretty colour,  it wasn't til i finished my page today that   my  photo  frame broke and i noticed another photo that  could have been done for this,  but not too worry, i will do it for  someone elses  now, im sure someone  will have lilac in their colour scheme somewhere

I have used  Kaiser  smooth White cardstock, and with a metallic  purple pen, have   drawn  hearts with  a  new stencil ,that i received at a recent  in a door entry  last weekend,

when i  got out my papers,  Kaiser   Airy fairy, i noticed  that i had a template  that i did years ago as a off the page  so decided to use the castle  template  as my background,
i have added some lace, bling and flowers  to the layout,

and coloured in the  fairy and the butterfly  as they  were  green,  not the right colour for this month,

until next  month ,
cheers

love the  June sketch and word  challenge

i think every month, im going to cut down on my challenges, and here i am  i saw  yours last night, and  that Adrenalin rush comes back. I  was never  into  words  before 3 years ago, then  got into a challenge and can not wait for the new word to come each month.
so, here i am again with a new  challenge  for june , with the word-  summer but  unlike to use the word,  use things out of my stash with the letters      S U M M E R
so many things came to mind, that i have in my cupboards,   for  the  letter S,  i could do so much with this letter,

S. is for  sequins, seahorse ( collectables) sea shells ( chipboards  ) sea gulls, string and   papers - Sea Breeze     ( Kaiser)     & i have added all                                                                                                    these to my  page.                                                                                                                           U is for  Utopia   Rub ons  from Kaiser

Born Pretty  powders from Sharon Pick
A Mothers Art  hot pink butterflies,
ive been having a  senior moments of late, maybe  my brain needs some time off  challenges LOL
i have other challenges i  like to do,  but  think i will leave it and go sort my room, maybe   my brain is too  cluttered to think, but then, i have been doing online challenges for 3 years now, i might get withdrawal symptoms if i stop now.

so today, i  resorted to a sketch,  i bought the book in  November,  2013 you know,  you put it away, amongst  other  stuff    and never find it again , then  find  some 4 years later  among your  xmas cards .today? ? ?  L OL  about time i used some of the sketches out of it ,   by  Allison , Davis

i have   used the above  papers &  matted them  all  with hot pink card stock ,( which wasn't on the sketch )
my  chipboard is  A@Zs   Love you,  here i have put black gesso  on, let dry,  then i have these little tubs of powders, which i  just love,  i then  dab a bit of special  medium with paint brush ,and dip into the powders, they dry so quick, with in minutes ,  its my  all time favourite  at the moment,  i add them to most things  now,  as they are close  to table , and i can see them .

well,  may see you next month,  see  how i go

hope you like my layout , i had fun as usual.  until next time

123 June challenge

white gives the impression of  pure &  clean  and a clean layout is just the ticket for today's play.

I  just love bling,  i have it in every colour ,one could image with different flourishes, flowers, alphabets, strings,  i dont think i would ever run out  in my overflowing  drawer,

ingredients i used  today are :-
Using  white Kaiser  smooth  cardstock
a Delish  flower,
net flower is from  TJs scrapping with style
blue and pink  flowers are from  Neha at Auzz Trinkets
Crystal Stickers
Value  Craft  Flowers
Kasz  bracket and borders  and fancy flourish sticky  bling,
lace is from a cheap shop,

white heart is from   when i did  5 minute  challenge at the craft show in Brisbane recently, i had to use everything in the box,  but i loved the heart, so i  only stuck it down a bit , so  that i could use it  at a later time   ( no i didn't win, but it was an fun  experience)   I have added some  baby  pink paper  to the back of the heart
the stencil  hearts are also created  using the  Born Pretty powders. which shows a different effect from  the black gesso, ( it is suggested to add these powders to anything black  for the full effect) and gives a great shine

with my  word love, i have changed the colour,  (  see pic) to pink and blue, this is a new  technique for me, and just love it , its called  born pretty   powders.  so i have  coloured my love word in black gesso   and let it dry over night,  today comes the fun part,  paint brush,  special   medium and  pink and blue  powders  paint them on , so easy and so quick to dry.
i bought these  little powders from  Mirrabooka scrapbooking, owner;-   Sharon Pick

my mum  loves  hot chocolate  drink, so when i saw  it come out  all in white , on a white tray,   at shingle inn, well i just had to take the photo,  of course, mum asks, why are you taking photos of  that for , ? ?   well,  im always have camera  in my bag , just ready for photo moments

I  had fun,     thanks for the   challenge, until next month,  have a great day ,

white with 1 june challenge

White with 1
great sketch, thanks very much, love  ones with more than one photo on the page ,

i received a mystery pack for the month &  thought, what a pretty colour,
                                               Teal Sequins,
i have used a lot out of the mystery pack  - butterfly, doily, flowers,  lace,   chiffon and  other material, beads  & bling
so with my   chiffon  material, i have  used a stencil with gesso.  then  dried it with my heat gun, as im impatient and  like things to  be done ,not have to wait a day for things to dry.

i have then  placed ,the thicker  material under it to create another dimension
in my stash, i have been sorting out ( which seems never ending)  came across some more  butterflies and  journalling tags,
I have used a  small amount of  Kaiser  Base coat 4  and some washi tape .and found a  moulded white flower  & glued the beads to the middle with glossy accents

thanks for great challenge, cannot wait til next month to see what great colour  you have for us

white with 1 may challenge

White with one colour, -   deep   black,
its funny  i had just been putting away some  black & white papers & wondered,  white with  one hasn't come up with black yet,  but   on the 1st may, i checked and  there is it , so out came my  papers again
im  early this month, as im getting visitors  next week  dont know how long for , and so  challenges will be out of the question to do , so  have to get though them all this week if possible, ( and rest  LOl)

to today, i have used white cardstock,
Using Black gesso and my new Kaiser  foliage  mini design template, i have  smeared over  the white cardstock and  cut  out what  i didn't want,  to use,
i have then used  Abi"s craft black and white stripes paper  i was nearly going to  use  more , but then you would not see the white cardstock, so  will use the rest on another layout  to make my page a double layout,  in my  album
in my abundance of stash, i found some black  ric rac from  my 2 angels
Kaiser   Black   pearl flourish
some of the white flowers i have  coloured   with my black pen, and anything  green got coloured as well, with black pen.

I have my black sharpie and with   a Mothers Art  butterflies, have  coloured them in black ,  they look great, although i do love  all the of the many colours  that  A Mothers Art butterflies have,  10 colours to choose from  ( not black )
the word is some black   letters ive had for ages,
some   flowers are from  Tjs, scrapping  with style

hope you love it ,   as much as i do
until next month,   wow, can not believe we are  nearly up to june, where has the  months gone,

Saturday 15 April 2017

with with one

WON THIS
White with 1  with   Helium Blue  colour as this months colour & sketch if you like

Happy Easter everyone  hope you re enjoying school holidays for those who have children,   or just a  nice break from work, for those who are retired well , life's a beach, hey.
going along with beachy theme this month ,as yesterday  i  took my mum to  redcliffe  ( in Brisbane )

today,   i have created this layout,  using  White cardstock,
with Kaiser  nuital stencils & Drew Drop Brilliance  Sky Blue  ink

Using a tiny bit of  my new collection of Indigo Skies patterned paper  as matting   im trying to use up scraps  as well, so found a bubble  vellum paper to  add  behind my photo as  well
I have sponged with bubble wrap to create  the circles  around the photo and  stencils
Seagulls are from  Attic, i have inked 2 of the gulls and left  one  just natural.
in my stash off many things i found a  seaside shed from  Close to my Heart Seaside Compliments My Reflections pack
the blue flowers are  just out of my  abundance of flower & bling supply,  to  add dimension
i have inked around all edges, as i find it  brings  my layout together.
the washi tape is very appropriate  for   creating   sky, seagulls   effect,  ive had for years & wont ever part with it , i love it ,
I have  used  my computer  to create special  effects   on the  word Redcliffe  Jetty &  inked around the edges, & using my Kaiser trimmer with the blade of pinking , have again inked around the edges,

hope you  enjoy my layout,
now to put everything away, until next time ,
thanks for dropping  by.
